Address or Service Changes
Please notify the business office serving your area, either in writing or in person, of any billing or service changes. Cancellations are the responsibility of the customer. Collection service and charges will continue until notice is received in our office.
Bulky Item Pickup
Large or bulky household items can be picked up by special arrangement. Examples of bulky items include: refrigerators, washers, dryers, sofas, chairs, mattresses, beds (disassembled), tables (with legs removed), water heaters, or other household items too large to be picked up by your weekly trash truck.
Residential bulky item service is NOT for:
Commercial establishments, property clean up, construction or remodeling debris. To dispose of any of these debris items, please contact us to arrange for temporary bin service.
To schedule a bulky item pickup, please contact our customer service department. On your appointed bulky item collection day, set out your item at the curb or the end of your driveway by 6:00 a.m.

EDCO offers a variety of integrated-waste collection and recycling programs to meet the needs of your business.

- Scheduled dumpster service
15 to 40 cubic yard roll-off boxes for construction debris and landscape material- Compactor service, sales and repair
- Recycling programs for office paper, cardboard, and food/beverage containers

Collection Time
Collection begins each morning at 6:00 a.m. Please set out rubbish and recyclables by 6:00 a.m. to avoid being missed.
Customer Payments
Charges are due and payable upon receipt of the bill. Accounts that become past due will be automatically suspended.
Family owned and locally operated, EDCO subscribes with a billing service in order to efficiently process customer payments. Return payments should be sent to the customer payment remittance address printed on your billing statement. When mailing your payment, please detach the top portion of the invoice and mail it along your remittance, using the return envelope provided.
Hazardous Waste
State law prohibits the disposal of certain waste in rubbish containers. The following items are examples of hazardous waste items that MUST NOT be placed out for collection: MOTOR OIL, PAINT, PAINT THINNER, FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS, POOL CHEMICALS, DRAIN CLEANERS, PESTICIDES, CAUSTICS, DRUGS, and EXPLOSIVES.
Utilize the Earth 911 recycling hotline to locate drop-off programs for hazardous and non-hazardous materials: 1-800-CLEANUP (800-253-2687) or www.earth911.org.
Household Recyclables
Place recyclable materials in rigid containers specified for you city. Acceptable recyclable items include: newspaper, mixed paper, cardboard, glass bottles & jars, (all colors) plastic containers (soda, milk, water bottles), aluminum and steel/tin cans. (Residential recycling service not available in every service area.)
Residential Collection Service
Residential service consists of one (1) time-per-week collection of waste materials from your home. Containers are to be placed at the curb or in a rear alley. To prevent our collectors from overlooking your refuse and recyclables, containers should not be obstructed in any way.
Return Check Charge
Due to the costs associated with processing return checks, a return check charge will be added to the balance due if a check is returned to us by the bank for any reason. In the event that a returned check results in the interruption of service due to non-payment, service will not be resumed until payment of the past due balance, service reinstatement fee and a returned check charge have been received in our business office.
Service Reinstatement
Services discontinued for non-payment will not be resumed until the total balance due is paid in full and a service reinstatement fee has been paid.
