Cardboard, newspapers, bottles, cansCleaning Products & Detergents

Bleach, detergent, soap, shampoo, drain cleaners, etc.

Automotive & Yard Care Products

EMPTY anifreeze, oil, plant food and herbicide containers




Recycling Don'ts

NON-RECYCLABLES include:
  • plastic bags
  • newspaper delivery bags
  • Styrofoam
  • ceramics
  • light bulbs
  • window glass
  • mirrors
  • wax paper
  • food-soiled paper
  • plastic flower pots
  • clear dome covers on take-out food trays
  • microwaveable food trays

Please DO NOT recycle other types of plastics that are not labeled CA Redemption Value or CA Cash Refund. This includes:

Recycling Code 3 Household cleaners, cough syrup, shampoo bottles
Recycling Code 4 Condiment bottles, cosmetic containers, bags
Recycling Code 5 Ketchup bottles, syrup containers, yogurt cups, containers for personal-care products
Recycling Code 6 Deli-product containers, egg cartons, meat trays, disposable cups, foam packaging
Recycling Code 7 Certain juice containers, ready-made lunch containers
