Electronic Waste

Encinitas residents can call the Clean Harbors hotline (800-444-4244) to arrange for home pickup of e-waste.  Residents may also use the Vista and Poway HHW sites to dispose of e-waste.

EDCO now accepts qualified e-waste devices, such as computer monitors and TVs, at the EDCO Recycling Buyback Center, located at 224 S. Las Posas Road in San Marcos. Qualified electronic devices are accepted from the public and from State Certified Collectors at no charge. Non-qualified items such as computer drives, keyboards, printers, and other related computer parts are accepted for a small fee.
