Automated Rubbish Collection

  • EDCO Disposal provides each single-family home residential customer with a 96-gallon capacity, GRAY automated cart for weekly rubbish collection.
  • Please set out waste containers in your designated collection area at the curb.
  • Automated carts should be placed at least 2 feet away from obstructions such as parked cars, trees, telephone poles and mailboxes.
  • Please be careful not to place carts in areas of traffic, such as bike lanes, in order to avoid blocking paths of travel.

Gray CartCollection Day Set-Out

Place automated carts in your designated collection area (in front of the residence) on the street with the wheels against the curb or on the edge of the roadway. Arrows on the lid should point toward the street. Avoid placing carts next to obstructions, such as parked cars, utility poles, etc. Please be careful not to place carts in areas of traffic, such as bike lanes, in order to avoid blocking paths of travel.

When setting out waste and recycling carts for collection, always leave enough space so your postal carrier can access your mail box.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding placement of your waste or recycling container, please call (562) 597-0608 and a customer service representative will be happy to assist you.

For bigger projects, ask about our roll-off containers. Different size containers will be provided depending on the weight of material to be disposed of. We also offer security vans for on-site storage of valuable tools and building supplies.
