FREE E-Waste Disposal Event Now Scheduled Monthly for Lemon Grove!

EDCO is excited to announce that residents and businesses of Lemon Grove now have the opportunity to dispose of electronic waste free of charge at monthly events being held at Civic Center Park. Upcoming dates include:

• November 19, 2011

Lemon Grove residents and businesses can attend free electronic waste disposal events held at Civic Center Park, located at 3200 Main Street. The events will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Only e-waste generated from residential homes and businesses in Lemon Grove will be accepted, and no other hazardous or toxic waste will be collected.

Proper disposal of electronic waste (e-waste) is becoming a major environmental concern. Computer monitors, hard drives/CPUs, scanners, keyboards, televisions, VCRs, radios, printers, fax machines, etc., all contain significant levels of lead that should not be put into the regular trash stream.
