  • Please be careful not to place carts in areas of traffic, such as bike lanes, in order to avoid blocking paths of travel.

Collection Day Set-Out

Place automated carts in your designated collection area (in front of the residence or in the alley) on the street with the wheels against the curb or on the edge of the roadway. Arrows on the lid should point toward the street. Community Clean Up Event

It is time to get the house and backyard cleaned up – and Signal Hill Waste & Recycling is here to help.

You can dispose of your unwanted stuff for FREE.  This bulky item disposal event is for residents to conveniently dispose of items that are too large or too heavy to set out for pick up on a regular waste collection day.

Please look for the date, time and location in your area.  And, remember that NO household hazardous waste, NO electronic waste and NO universal waste will be accepted. We cannot accept waste debris from contractors, landscapers or commercial businesses.
