Are you drowning in paper? Would you like to discard old bank statements and other personal records, but are concerned with identity theft?
The City of Escondido and EDCO are sponsoring a FREE shredding event. Limited to two banker boxes (10”x12”x15”) per household. There will be certified shredding trucks during the event, and all items will be shredded ONSITE!
Unwanted electronics will also be collected including TVs, computer monitors, printers, fax machines, VCRs, etc. However, no household hazardous waste (HHW) material will be accepted.
Also available will be free mulch for Escondido residents (while supplies last). This is a self-serve, self-loading, and self-haul service, so please bring your own cans/bags, gloves, and shovel. Limit of 3 cans/bags per vehicle. If you plan to haul your mulch in an open truck or trailer, please remember to bring a tarp to cover your material.

Location: Center for the Arts Parking lot, located on the corner of Woodward Ave. & N. Escondido Blvd. There will be an entrance off of Woodward by James A. Stone Pool and another off of N. Escondido Blvd.
